Five questions we ask before we reserve a Deadpool chase variant
Chase covers attract rushed deposits. Slowing the inquiry by five questions has saved more money than any pep talk about “the market.”
First: which file? Artist name plus “red costume” is not a file. We want the cover letter or a full solicitation image.
Second: do you already own the A cover for that issue? If not, we will say so. A chase without the reading cover is a poster with staples.
Third: is there a Marvel NFT comic edition the same month, and do you want pairing notes? Some collectors are startled to find the chase art reused digitally with a different crop.
Fourth: pickup in Bangkok or courier, and during which weeks can you actually receive a box? A hold that expires while you are in Phuket is a wasted inbound slot.
Fifth: what is your stop price for that line? We would rather decline a 1:50 than take a deposit you will resent when the balance email arrives.
If any answer is missing, we treat the request as an inquiry, not a hold. That is slower. It is also how we keep the inbound pile honest.
